It is not the same since only liability insurance is required.
Damage to both your vehicle and damage to others is what it covers. Damage to others is why the state can require it as part of having access.
Since they’re not going to let a person just die, that person is damaging others by forcing them to pay for his illness when using a public hospital.
Not sure I follow your logic? People die everyday, maybe a few hundred thousand. Hospitals were started by Christians, like higher education. People unable to care for themselves need a Christian hand.
