It's appropriate on this day to note that Lewis has been judged not by the color of his skin, but rather by the content of his character. The content of his character has been found to be sorely lacking.

Donald Trump comes from the private sector where you are held accountable for what you do today. In the real world, it does not matter if you were a top salesman last year, or the twenty years before that. If you are under quota this year, your job is in jeopardy. In the private sector, having earlier success does not give you license for mediocrity going forward.
So this guy John Lewis marched in civil rights back in the day. Very good. He probably has plaques and pictures to hang on the wall. What has he done the past 28 years in Congress? Absolutely nothing of value, evidently. And Trump is right to call him on it.
Contribute or get out of the way.
