I watched Tony Bennett 90th birthday last week and that dude hit it out of the park.
Hit some high notes and held one for a length I wouldn’t think he could.

Tony Bennett is one of those few exceptions to the rule of age. Barbara Streisand is too. I just appreciate Bennett for his performances, and try not to think about his remarks that WW2 “Was a war not worth fighting”.
His son Danny Bennett (who manages his Dad’s schedule) reminds his father its’ better to keep quiet about such controversial topics.
You’re kidding about Betty Wright singing at the Trump Inaugural, correct? It’s a good song though. I’ve always liked that guitar riff in the very beginning. It pulls you into the story and keeps you there. The way that little guitar piece is written, no pronounced beginning, no clear ending; it could last forever.

I’m not sure that “My Way” is a particularly good song to be sung to bring in the Trump presidency. My concern is the opening line:
