The Justice Department inspector general will review broad allegations of misconduct involving the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email practices and the bureau’s controversial decision shortly before the election to announce the probe had resumed, the inspector general announced Thursday.
The probe will be wide ranging — encompassing the FBI’s various public statements on the matter, whether its deputy director should have been recused and whether FBI or other Justice Department employees leaked nonpublic information, according to a news release from Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.
Lawmakers and others had called previously for the inspector general to probe the FBI’s pre-election actions when it came to the Clinton probe, alleging that FBI Director James B. Comey bucked long-standing policies with his communications about the case and that information seemed to have leaked inappropriately — perhaps to former New York City mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani.
Horowitz said in a news release that he will explore those topics and more, though he will not re-litigate whether anyone should have faced charges.
“The review will not substitute the OIG’s judgment for the judgments made by the FBI or the Department regarding the substantive merits of investigative or prosecutive decisions,” the news release said, using an acronym for the Office of the Inspector General.

This means it will look into how Comey said they weren't pressing charges but then proceeded to criticize Hillary as "extremely careless" in dealing with classified material.
Question - Is this person going to be gone when Trump gets in there? Meaning, does Trump appoint a new inspector general? If so, he has 8 days for an investigation. Why wait so long?
These people just can't accept they lost because the American people rejected Hillary and her policies. First they protest, then try a recount, blame Russia (If we accept Russia hacked - the info from the DNC & emails was still real), blame Comey, blame fake news, blame the electoral college, call it a whitelash, etc. They attacked Trump as being unable to accept the election results and insult him as immature, unstable, etc. Imagine for a second if he behaved this way! These people get away with it in the media because the media is run by leftists!
They wonder why he is still in campaign mode. It's because he is still fighting them. He won't get the Obama honeymoon. He won't get the pied piper media treatment Obama got. My goodness, the left is trying to literally find ways to stop him before he takes office, will protest his inauguration, and want to get him impeached as soon as possible. I'd love to see the lefties deal with it this if it was their President. Of course, that won't happen because the media is biased.
Trump needs to have the FBI investigate the CIA and simultaneously have the CIA investigate the FBI. Then clean both houses.
They are trying to set up the narrative that any action against Hillary by Trump’s DOJ amounts to a witch hunt since the IG worked on it and the issue is closed.
I don’t think the MSM and Obama/Hillary know what they are in for.

ITEM---Wikileaks revealed earlier that late night talk host Stephen Colbert, and his team at Comedy Central, were making TV episodes at the request or order of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) back in April of 2013.
So, viewers thought they were vote-smart because they’re informed by a comedian, yet same said comedian was doing Hillary’s bidding the whole time.
ITEM----I hope talk hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher, Seth Myers, Trevor Noah and Conan O’Brien have their lawyers on retainer and speed dial.
ITEM....because if the Trump Administration uncovers that the DNC and the Clintons were directly working with any member of media and their writing staff during the 2016 Presidential election, they could be charged with violating Federal election laws.
Why don’t they just announce firing squads for Trump voters. That’s what they want.

I think you may be close. However, I think the point of such a late investigation is to make a final determination as to whether they need to pardon HRC. These guys can force the FBI to provide all the material that was being held back from Comey in the New York office.
I expect a last minute pardon with the excuse that Hillary shouldn't be hounded by the new guys. They have to write it to minimize the implication that there is guilt to be absolved. In other words, it will be Trump's fault that a pardon is required. (I'm sure that if they could, they would make it sound like Bush's fault, just for one last dig. :)
