When two news outlets publish a over the top salacious rumor, admitting they cannot verify ANY of it and proof is coming out that the basic facts are totally fake (guy cited in it was in the US never been to Prague, misspelling company in it repeatedly, using security labels no one uses) ... they have not just egg on their face but an omelette.
They stood up and said “anything we don’t agree with is fake”, then published and reported things that were absolutely unverified and now proven false.

I heard a liberal commentator complaining about this fake news as crying wolf, that they’ve used up all their credibility now when they all know Trump will have a REAL scandal shortly - but by reporting “golden showers” and totally fake BS now, no one will believe them when they report REAL terrible things he is going to do.

Supposed caller to Michael Savage radio program claims to be part of 4Chan.
He said 4Chan is a parody/satire website. He said they created the Trump story to see how far it would get. He said they never expected serious media would pick up and run with the story, especially without verifying it. He said they never expected the intelligence community to also spread the story.

The media is so starved for information to supplement and support their anti-Trump narrative that they are falling for hoaxes and fake news.
They are so excited to get these fakes stories that they fail to verify their sources. These are ‘seriousness of the charge’ stories that ignore the fact they these stories have no substance or validity.
Yes, and their definition of true is what their other sources say.
It gives extra credibility to them by “verifying” against equally biased sources. AND it has the evil effect of labeling as false the few outside sources that report things the left wing media won’t report. Like the Muslim migrant rape crisis in the EU not reported and several Muslim migrant rapists here getting little punishment and no coverage.
I can tell our politicians and security agencies don’t ‘internet much’.

The media’s “fake, cake walk” has come to an end with Trump. He will call them on it on a regular basis as he should. It is time that the American people get the truth and it may take a while but my bet is the news we will be getting will have been washed a bit before it gets broadcast or printed, thanks to Trump.
Yes, the “right” responded in the best way to the mantra of fake news by making it a call of their own.

Thesis: When controlling parties take over others, those people may rebel and disagree, but yet will continue to obey them in order to survive.
We are “Minitrue”. In our ministry, we are concerned with news, entertainment, education and the fine arts.
In “Minitrue”, we have a department called the Records of Department. This is where we change history when something does not seem right, when event has happened, that should not have, or when a person “doublethinks”. (Doublethinking is when you have a thought that goes against the Party). We do this so our Party looks good and we do not want people talking about what has happened in the past because we want the past to look good and have a positive impact that goes along with the Party’s standards. Other people would like to say that we are a ministry that lies, but we that is not the case. We like to change the past just so it could be interesting to read, not dull and boring.
Examples:
Winston changed a section in a newspaper. He was to correct articles that had to be with the Party’s standards.
Changes an article about Jones, Aaronson and Rutherford.
Time Magazine - A speech was made by Big Brother. The speech had to be changed because Big Brother’s prediction was incorrect and had to be correct.
A forecast prediction was printed wrong.
