Over a month ago you might remember seeing various MSM outlets pushing a storyline about a former *interim* CIA Director, Mike Morell, calling Russian interference into the 2016 election: “the political equivalent of 9-11“.
Today he claims if Trump doesn’t agree with John Brennan’s political construct to blame Russia for hacking the DNC, well, “spys will no longer spy for us“…

CIA was once run by George H.W. Bush and I have not trusted it since...if you read up on some of the things that were going on back then up to and including the killing of JFK, you know why it’s not to be trusted...
I think President Trump should do away with it, we have the Military and that should be good enough...right?

Thanks for setting the record straight. i cannot get over the fact that nobody is interested in Hillary’s crimes and only care about pointing the finger at Russia as the reason why she lost. I DO NOT BELIEVE Russia had any thing to do with this election, one way or the other. I find it very strange that in the beginning the FBI refused to agree with the CIA and then several days later they re suddenly in agreement and all 17 think Russia did it. BALONEY!
Wild Bill Donovan’s OSS was eliminated by Truman (largely because they were in constant disagreement with Hoover’s FBI) and the CIA created. Maybe it’s time to eliminate the CIA and bring back the OSS which was extremely effective in the field during WWII. The big problem with our “Security” services is that there are too many thinkers and not enough doers. We need people in the field. CLEAN HOUSE, Pres. Trump!
I have mixed thoughts on the CIA overall. There are plenty of folks who disagree. I wouldn’t argue with the idea there are too many thinkers and not enough doers though.

Always fighting over “their” turf.From recent decades shortcomings, I think the FBI needs some housecleaning too. I equate the mess we’re in with the idea we can win everything with air strikes and ignore the fact that nothing beats BOOTS ON THE GROUND. Why have we allowed our Military to be decimated by the present Administration when we have more threats than we have had since WWII? The Cold War was chump change compared to our present situation. Thank God we got Trump! Shake up and ship out every vestige of left wing thinking from every agency they have touched. Ship Brennan and company out on Jan. 21st.

I think you misread or misinterpreted my comments. Pay particular attention to my last sentence. We’re in agreement there.
In a climate where some folk want to do away with the CIA entirely, I’m not there. I do think it does need to be restructured at least as far as the leadership goes, and as far as our agreement on the other issue too.
So, I do have mixed thoughts on the agency.
Lets face it, leading up to 09/11, our national security agencies failed us miserably.
Between the FBI, the CIA, and the NSA, there’s simply no way those flight school students should have been able to pull off what they did.
We had talked about airliners being used as WMDs here on this forum. Tens of thousands of people paid to do nothing more than study, run scenarios, and prevent attacks, and they couldn’t muster the win?
