I also thought he did a great job with that. One particular segment was scathing in its indictment of the GM officers. They threw a big party somewhere in Grosse Pointe and had for entertainment, some of the employees they just fired. They used them as "living statues" and the scenes of the dowagers, champagne glass in hand, calmly strolling by these people, with noses in the air really got my blood boiling. I would have welcomed Madame DeFarge at that time.

It’s funny, isn’t it, how the tables have turned. So many on the left are totally blind as you say. None so blind as those who refuse to see. Springsteen mentioned how hate can’t be put back into the bottle but it was Clinton who unleashed that storm. Her whole campaign came down to calling Trump a racist, misogynist, xenophobic, greedy hater and anyone who supported him a deplorable human being. It doesn’t get much nastier than that. Clinton and her surrogates including BS riled up tens of millions of people and it was largely just projection and an attempt to drown out her own record of abusing women, covering up for hate, making up excuses to wage wars, her poor health, her greed, her bribe machine of a charity, her naked ambition and feelings of superiority and disregard for the law. She had no vision for the country or at least not one she would tell the public. She was incompetent because she was so distracted by her own greed and ambition she could not do the job she was appointed to do. Her job as SoS was the distraction from her goals. How anyone could support her is beyond my comprehension but they knew it too which is why they had no choice but to try to make DJT appear worse... and it almost worked!

You can’t put it back in the bottle, Bruce. But that blind hatred will corrode their souls. Maybe with enough time and therapy they will realize they did no one any service, not for the country and least of all for themselves.

Try explaining the difference between classical liberalism and modern liberalism to the typical teenage/20-something working 3rd shift at the Taco Bell, and see what reaction you get. The people we need to reach don't understand a word of what you're saying. We need to keep the argument on 5th grade terms, so if that means calling the Commies liberals, then that's what we need to do.
