Why does this news item say he only served two years in US Senate,he served two terms and 2 years.
Actually, he was elected three times to the Senate, in 1990 (to serve the last two years of VP Quayle’s term), in 1992, and then again in 2010. He voluntarily chose not to run for what would have been an easy reelection in 2016. So he is a rare Congresscritter who chose to term-limit himself.
