Congress certified Donald Trump's presidential victory over the objections of a handful of House Democrats.
All 538 electors met in their respective state capitals in December to cast their votes. The vote count made it official. Vice-president Joe Biden presided over the count in his role as president of the Senate.
Trump finished with 304 electoral votes and Democrat Hillary Clinton got 227. There were seven protest votes for other candidates. It takes 270 Electoral College votes to win the presidency.

It is NOT ‘Congressional procedure’, it is U.S.C. Title Code.
Since the Electoral College is a Constitutional Article, the ‘procedures’ are called out in the U.S.C. title Code, as LAW.
Therefore, each of the “objections” raised, were in violation of Code, when NOT having been signed by BOTH a sitting Representative AND a sitting Senator, and were ILLEGAL by U.S. Law. They were criminal actions.
NO one could have beaten Trump, and no one will in 2020. And had Trump not entered and won the Republican primary, no one would have beaten Hillary either.
