2016’s biggest loser: Big Green

The day after the presidential elections the executive director of the Sierra Club glumly called the Donald Trump victory “deeply disturbing for the nation and the planet.” Well, yes, if you’re a climate change alarmist who hates fossil fuels, you’re in for a bad four and maybe eight years.

Greenpeace executive director Annie Leonard was even more apocalyptic saying: “I never thought I’d have to write this. The election of Donald Trump as president has been devastating There’s no question, Donald Trump’s climate denial is staggering. He wants to shut down the EPA, cancel the Paris Climate Agreement, stop funding clean energy research and drill baby drill.” Ah, but if this is so crazy, why did he win?

WINNING IS AWESOME! So, apparently "they" are skerred that an actual discussion my occur rather than the typical throat shoving and admonishment that if you don't believe the "consensus", you are an erf killing evil POS and not worthy of notice. Too bad erf firsters. Losers with a capital "L". You're dismissed. I guess the incoming admins request as to who and how much expeniture is involved in pushing the scam is unsettling. Awwwww. Next up, charge the sea shepard assclowns with piracy.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

” . . . shut down the EPA, cancel the Paris Climate Agreement, stop funding clean energy research and drill baby drill.”

Sounds like a good start.

Answer to your question, is that liberals believe they are stronger together; they believe they are stronger than any of the natural forces or laws of physics which you cite.

I never understand liberals on all this “climate change” business. For example, there have been numerous ice ages in earth’s history. During the last ice age, Chicago was buried under a mile of ice. How did all that ice melt, if not for a beneficial period of “global warming”???

Clearly our weather and climate are subjected to natural forces, which we don’t fully understand, and which we can’t control anyway.

But in the liberal mind, we can overcome all of this, and deliver a utopia on this planet....................

I saw a portion of a show on TV recently, on Discovery or one of those channels, about what earth would be like if human life didn’t exist on earth.

And they were talking about how wildlife habitats would flourish, the marine life in the ocean would flourish without pollution, fish in rivers would survive without pollution, etc.

I turned it off after a few minutes. And I wondered, who, and why, someone would make a TV show speculating about earth without humans. And why they appear to draw conclusions that our earth would be much better off in many ways without human beings.

Denver will soon be under water. So says algore.

And perhaps you haven’t noticed, but Manhattan is already under water. The NYTimes just won’t admit it.

I’ll see your comments and raise you the following:

1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.

3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.

4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.

5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.

6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.

7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

Still not tired of winning. ;-)

Near where we live, they had already spent MILLIONS and had
a good start on a dam; but the snail darter reared its head
and that STOPPED the dam in its tracks. - That was several
years ago. Honestly, I really don’t miss the proposed lake
and all the noise; but I do balk at all the wasted MILLIONS
in TAXPAYER MONEY.

A few years ago, I was at an REI store. At the counter, they had plastic reusable bags for only $16. I asked the cashier if she thought that was just a little ridiculous and she couldn’t disagree other than to say it was recycled plastic. She then proceeded to put my purchase in a paper bag.

I said Paper? She then told me it was made with reclaimed wood. I left her speechless when I reminded her that trees are nothing but a slow growing crop.
