The Obama administration appears to be attempting to provoke the Russians into a confrontation once again. This apparent attack on Russia is in reality an attack on Donald Trump. Andrea Mitchell reported that the Obama administration is taking steps to “box in” president-elect Donald Trump so the sanctions are not easily reversible. This provocation will include economic sanctions, 'diplomatic censure' and clandestine cyber attacks. The excuse for this provocation is the alleged Russian interference in the U.S. election. How can Donald Trump be sworn in as president if the Russians in effect chose him as our next president? The campaign being waged suggests that Trump is not very intelligent, he ignores intelligence assets and he is a tool of Vladimir Putin.
The administration’s point man for the attack on Trump’s competence is Vice President Joseph Biden. Biden has declared, "Trump is so stupid that he doesn’t understand,” and "He has no idea what the hell he’s talking about.” After revealing that he was accompanied by a military aide carrying a briefcase containing the nuclear codes, Biden remarked, “Just imagine giving this guy access." The vice president also revealed the location of the secure bunker where he would go in the event of a terrorist attack or national security threat.
Donald Trump is being accused of being indifferent to intelligence. The media have enlisted academic “experts” to bolster their accusations. Professor Joshus Rovner, the John Goodwin Tower Distinguished Chair of International Politics and National Security, stated, “By ignoring intelligence, Trump risks policy tunnel vision.” Rovner was critical of Trump’s pick of retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn to head the CIA because Flynn called the CIA a political arm of the Obama administration.

It may be a sideshow, but I am reminded of a magician who diverts his audiences attention from his right hand so that his left hand can do something entirely different.
So my question is this... What is he or his administration trying to divert our attention from? My personal guess is that he intends on seeding even more potential Muslim Jihadists throughout the country.

I'll bet Rovner does not even comprehend the magnitude of his own irony. LTG Flynn is a very bright and capable intel guy, and an excellent choice for any intel agency. The fact that Trump picked him shows that Trump does, in fact, understand the value of good intelligence.
As for the rest of this article, the blaming of Russia for the election result (without ever explaining how Russia supposedly hacked the election) is a continuation of the Hillary campaign. She "warned" that Trump has close ties to Russia, and that those ties would lead to war with Russia. (Don't try to figure this out; liberals do not use logical reasoning.) She also kept talking about how nuclear confrontation is bad, presumably to convince voters that Trump would launch a nuclear war. In reality, the warmongering is projection by the Democrats.
What I see going on now is that the Democrats are trying to make their "predictions" come true. While they still have a few days of presidential power, they are doing everything they can to provoke nuclear war with Russia. This is the same playbook they have been using in other areas: they call Trump supporters violent, so hire thugs to attend Trump rallies and provoke violence. Or years ago, in order to "prove" George Bush's racism, they hired thugs to go to his rallies dressed like klansmen to cheer at his speeches.
What I don't get is why the GOPe is supporting the Democrat agenda. The fact that we have rejected socialism shoved rapidly down our throats by Democrats does not mean that we will accept socialism when delivered by the slow spoonful by the GOPe--the speed of delivery seeming to be the only difference between them. We reject socialism, period.
A sign that he's a true patriot who puts his country before himself.
The only things (in question) that were hacked, I believe were the DNC emails and Podesta's emails.
No one is disputing the accuracy of the email content - everything that was revealed was true.
Thus, if the DNC and Podesta didn't originate smarmy and corrupt practices revealed by the emails - there would be no story.
So, what's the problem?

As the office taking Day was moved up from March to January we need to move it again to IMMEDIATELY after Election Day. Election Day can be moved back to December 30 or so and office taken as soon as all votes are counted and Happy New Year.

How many foreign elections has odumbo and his ilk meddled in since he came into office? The media somehow fails to mention those.
Academic “experts” well we’ve seen how that worked out for the last 8 years all bad.
Another FReeper posted a thread of the thousands of regulations obama is implementing before he goes. Won’t last but will surely cause some chaos.
