Mark Steyn put it so well.

First of all you put armed guards on synagogues and Jewish schools, then it’s on churches and shopping malls, then there are concrete bollards put up around centuries-old public events, you deploy more and more, ever more-heavily armed, police, you install traffic checkpoints and CCTV throughout the country. Until before you know it the country is parcelled up into thousands of little armour-protected zones, and citizens are being monitored and checked 24-hours a day.

Here’s an alternative, Steyn says, how about instead of all these little security checks we implement a big one, all around the country, let’s call it “a border” for want of a better term, and we deploy all these policemen and security devices to protect the border and to monitor, and more importantly keep out, the people who would do us harm?

A radical concept that seems very difficult for people in power in the West to comprehend.

We need to keep repeating that statement. Here in California,We can no longer have picnics in front of our dams as they are fenced off, lake water used to supply homes has to be constantly monitored for contaminants that could be added, suspicious forest fires, and look at airports and air travel. Prez. Trump do what you need to do with my full backing!
