Maybe at home they can help to defend the southern border, the vulnerability of which is a far bigger security threat than anything happening in the Middle East or elsewhere.

There ARE Carriers on deployment. Not all of them are at home port in the US.
But sailors need port calls. It’s axiomatic.
And a tradition going back at least 5,000 years.
You know, I think unless some powers in the government can keep control of Obama somehow until Jan 20, we are simply going to have to pray and realize God is the one to keep us safe. I think we also have to turn Israel over into God’s hands for now too. Obama is a destroyer and divider. It is all he has ever known. We are about to find out how many other of our citizens are infected with this disease.
And never has Israel been in greater danger.
I posted on FR right after the election that I expected to see Putin bring together the Sunni & Shiite Muslims against Israel while Obama was still in office. They just announced that Putin was negotiating peace without the USA.
Putin already has a carrier, troops, missiles..... around Israel.... The UN security council motion set the stage.

And there are 57 states.
After doing the new math and applying the ratio of real states, that 15 battle groups devolves to zero, if not negative.
At the rate it’s going we will soon be able to outsource carrier operations to the ChiComs.
Trump is going to have to thoroughly clean not only a lot of departments but the Pentagon as well...I cannot believe fleet admirals would allow this to happen...
We have 10 CVANs. Despite heavy deployment schedules it is hard to maintain a ship at sea on average more than 1/3 of the time. High op-tempos over the last so many years must be taking an enormous toll and the accumulated bills for repair, refit, and ultimately overhaul must be long overdue.
Saw this announced earlier this evening and was livid! Unreal that its true but even worse are the news channels blabbing it all over tv. Damn this administration.
True, but you do NOT put ALL carriers in any port at the same time...Do you know how long a recall takes when sailors are offboard???
