The Mooch would have a big of a problem. She’d have to explain why she “left” the Illinois bar after only four years of practice. Rumors are to the effect that she was involved in suborning perjury in an insurance case in Federal Court, got caught, and was given the choice of “voluntarily” resigning from the bar or being faced with disbarment proceedings and, possibly, worse. Naturally, none of the MSM speculation about her possible candidacy even mentions this matter.

Dems could go with their strength and give LA Mayor Eric Garcetti a look.

Somebody who manages to be Italian and Jewish and Mexican and even a little bit Irish does have all the bases covered.

But I don't think he'd appeal much to today's Democrat base -- too white guy.

I think -- just off the top of my head without any real evidence -- that they'll go with a woman next time.

You can bet at least one woman senator will run to keep Hillary out of the race, and I don't think Booker or Castro would be able to keep out Gillibrand or Harris.

Of course there's always Andrew Cuomo.

When I said formidable it was more about physics and not politics.

My prediction is Cuomo will win the nomination. In the next few years he will turn NY into a communist hell hole. It will be his model for what he would do the entire nation.

Logical thinking, but I would think that the Democrats have to know that “liberal from San Francisco” is not really a great selling point in any of the battleground states. But who knows . . .

If I were placing a bet a this point it would be on Michael Rubens Bloomberg. That is what their navel gazing is going to produce. Democrats: “If we just had a billionaire to run against Trump we would win.”

Some Democrats talk that way. But not enough to win somebody like Bloomberg the nomination. The base won't turn down billionaires' money, but they don't want to give one of them the nomination.

1. “The Bern” though if Trumps can pull off what I hope he can some of the wind will be out “The Bern’s” sails (Though “Free Sh*t for everyone !” is a hard program to beat!)

2. Anyone who is black! I think the standard Rats think they have to lead the ticket with a “black”.

3. Distant third Andrew Cuomo, because he thinks its his turn!

4. Even more distant fourth - Joe Biden, why because its Joe’s turn! (Isn’t it always Joe’s turn!)

5. If she is alive Hellary! And if she is able to stack the deck again. The battle to do that should be entertaining. If she does stack the deck again, she will be the nominee again!

6. Who are the rest of these people? No name recognition & I doubt they will be allowed to develop any!
