Evancho truly has the voice of an angel.

But the all-time best performance of our National Anthem was sung by Whitney Houston, recorded at a Super Bowl game some decades ago. Mark Levin plays it occasionally I believe.

No warbles or screeches, just straightforward belting it out. It was awesome. Houston had true talent. She was ruined by the usual toxic drugs and bad "friends" that so many succumb to with fame.

Well I simply cannot pass up a thread like this without posting something by my favorite singer. Do not click the link unless you are a member of the large group of Freepers with actually appreciate real musical talent. If you like rap, for example, you would be wasting your time.

In fact there is documented evidence (see the NYT back in April or so) that listening to this gal can be fatal to rappers. I report, you decide.
