I'm waiting for our new President to explain to the press media types that in the American form of government, Congress writes and passes a bill. When both houses approve the exact same bill, it goes to the President for signature. If the President signs the bill, it becomes law. Then the Executive Branch, led by the President, enforces the law. The media might not remember how America is designed to work.

Executive Orders and Supreme Court decisions that write laws (like Roe V Wade) are not the American form of government. Congress needs to do it's job. That is actual voting, not talking to the media press types and looking for campaign contributions.

Well, I’d further explain that if Congress does NOT write a bill, or refuses to pass some legislation, it may be because the voters DO NOT WANT IT.

Obama used the excuse “If Congress won’t do their job, I will do it for them” way too often.

It matters in our way of government when Congress doesn’t pass some law. The President can’t butt his way in here by unconstitutionally trying to enforce that which Congress didn’t pass into being.

The president can then concentrate in promoting those candidates to Congressional office who share his views, but the People, through their vote, are still the final arbitrator as to what construes the job responsibilities of Congress.
