There was a gentleman from out of town that was here that complained to several in the courthouse, really in quite a rude and vulgar manner at different times. He was quite hostile.A gentleman from out of town huh? I will let you decide how this makes you feel on this subject.
The Democrat Thug Party.
ACLU = Against Christians Living Unharmed
Legal bullying.
I know of a largish town in Georgia that is also the County Seat, though I will not get more specific than that. Their courthouse is similarly adorned, and I wish these lowlifes the worst of luck in finding it, because I’m sure they’ll do the same thing there as they did in Grant Parish. Civil Liberties seems to have come to mean the right to persecute people over bull-sh!t. Let them have their nativity scenes around the courthouses. It’s a nothing town in a remote corner of the world, and it shouldn’t reasonably bother anybody. Who gives a sh!t, already.
In Norwood we had a small creche in front of school for years and nobody complained until a UU Minister blew into town and filed a lawsuit with the ACLU. The town couldn’t afford the long battle and took it down. The UU Minister then left town.
As Dennis Prager has brilliantly noted, whether one celebrates December 25th as a religious holiday or as a national holiday it’s Christmas either way!
The same people claim it’s a violation of civil rights to not fund some alleged artist’s anti-Christian or anti-Jewish blasphemy and pornography, and will also defend Muslims who riot and kill people because somebody drew a picture of Mad Mo. They are hypocrites and/or idiots. Enough. When some real civil liberties are violated, they’ll be with the violators of same.
It’s about time the Christian public starting pushing back against this creeping atheism trying to keep out us out of the public square. We have every bit as much right to be there as they do, and maybe more, as our ancestors were here first.
Did you put the creche back up?
We should use Alinskyite tactics.
If the ACLU sues and wins, keep putting it up anyway. If the government won’t/can’t put it up, private citizens can. Put a new one up if they take it down. Make the court send U.S. Marshals to the town to make it look extra ridiculous.
When the Marshals leave, put one up again.
I wish Trump would go after the so called aCLU for racketeering and extortion.
I wonder if having a creche put up by private citizens, over the objection of the local government would cause the municipal insurance premiums to go up anyway, as if this were the same as the municipality erecting the creche themselves and keeping it there, even after a federal precedent has been made. Even so, it’s a great idea.
File suit against the ACLU for millions. Make it a class action on behalf of all Christians. In an embarrassing lawsuit, the Trump administration pulls all funding from the organization.
I have often thought it would be worthwhile to force the government to deploy troops every time some Communist sues to remove something put there by the rest of us. If every community in America put a Nativity scene out the cost of forcing compliance would eventually break the government.
A friend of mine is Mayor of a town in one of the fifty states. He just authorized the purchase of a nativity scene.
May G-d bless and keep the ACLU...far away from such towns.
These liberal yahoo’s . . .don’t they realize Who they ultimately answer to. Paying a little more attention to their future in eternity and which way direction they are heading would be better use of their time.
It’d be like the freedom riders making it impossible to enforce unjust laws, by clogging up the jails with deliberate violators. This could be the start of a beautiful movement.
Many towns can save money by just ordering the basics. . .the wise men didn’t come on the scene to visit Jesus until much later. One little kid in my kid’s church was upset because we didn’t have the wise men up outside. . .frankly they couldn’t find them. . .I told him we were the only church in town that had a Scripturally correct manger scene. . . .so what did he do. . .he visited all the other churches and told them what I said.
