I’ve thought about using two of my spare Gmail accounts to communicate with each other about how we are going to do nefarious things somewhere not close by, just to see what happens.
probably NOT a good idea, they might actually accuse you of ... something or another and try to jail you for embarrassing them
Remember the outrage when Jimmy Carter suggested that telephone companies wire up recorders to everyone’s telephone conversations that would automatically start recording if “certain words” were used?
And doubtless these muslim terrorist used the telephone to coordinate and plan this attack.
Should the families also not sue AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and so on?
I heard some guy on the radio the other day. He also pointed out how social media is the goto place for internet bullies. And when some teenage snowflake kills herself (in front of her parents even!) then the parents rush to sue Facebook and so on.
Slippery Slope indeed.
Not really. In the prior instance, the mutant’s intentions, proclivities, etc., are known; but in the latter, they are not.
Private citizens economically destroying a private entity is not the same as a government doing it.
Besides, I don't tbelieve Facebook, which encourages dummies to disclose way more personal information to the world than they reasonably should, is any sacred bastion of "liberty".
The courts are a branch of the government.
And your personal opinion of some one or some entity has no bearing on their rights.
