Illinois losing 1 resident every 4.6 minutes, could fall behind Pennsylvania in population

Illinois has record loss of 114,000 residents to other states in 2016 as population shrinks by 37,500.
Imagine the entire population of Peoria, Illinois’ seventh-largest city, all picking up and moving across state lines in one year, never to work, pay taxes or create jobs in Illinois again. That’s equivalent to what happened to Illinois over the past year: New migration data from the U.S. Census Bureau show that from July 2015 to July 2016, Illinois lost 114,000 people, on net, to other states, a record high for the Land of Lincoln.
Now consider the permanent loss of the combined populations of Illinois’ 10 largest cities outside of Chicago: Aurora, Rockford, Joliet, Naperville, Springfield, Elgin, Waukegan, Champaign and Arlington Heights, along with Peoria. The loss of these 10 cities’ combined populations approximately equals Illinois’ net loss of population to other states since 2000. Illinois has lost some 1.22 million people, on net, over the past 16 years.

Did this affect the number of voters? Probably not, because if the dead can vote there, surely those who have escaped to better states will be counted in IL long after they are gone.
Sorry, while I admit it’s sick, I immediately pictured dead bodies littering the streets.
As long as a few liberals are making money on the decline, they will ride it into the dirt.

If you saw the property taxes in Peoria, you would leave too.
They should raise corporate and individual tax rates to fund a study to figure out this problem!

So what does this say for the Census of 2020, if the trend continues? Loss of one representative....possibly two?
Does that include the ones shot in Chicago?
Or do they still count, since they’re voting Democrat from the graveyard?
I've had more than a few exchanges with people in that state. there must be something n the water there that gives the a vile and cranky disposition. One of my least favorite states in the U.S. because of the people alone.
I wonder how that number would change if everyone that wanted to leave, could. I think it would at the very least be cut in half (every 2.3 minutes) and most likely even more.
IMHO that 65% territory is where Detroit was when they went belly up, and they kicked the can down the road for a massive take over ( illary and her econ team ) of our 401k's etc to bail them out, but now they have DJT and he will have none of it...

Minnesota is worse. Except the Minnesotans will not leave since in their view the world does not exist outside of Minnesota. Any exodus would be the non natives (except for the so called refugees), since Minnesota does not welcome outsiders.
