I respectfully disagree. First and foremost, I love our Catholic Brothers and Sisters. They are saved as I am saved .Putin is practicing Russian Orthodox. The head of his Church said that the Russian war in Syria is a “HOLY WAR”! I love that. It is a HOLY WAR and we are going to win it in the name of JESUS CHRIST!! with great vigor. The “Russia is communism” baloney I hear and see, is actually humorous, in that this nation, the USA has been more communist, socialist and fascist behaviors under teh democrats, than all our former enemies with the exception of the unrepentant Maoists in China.

I think the reason may be that Obama and the Democrats want Russia to destroy the United States in a nuclear exchange, while Trump doesn’t.
When my wife (70) was in high school, her history teacher told them not to worry about Russia, that China was the threat. It became clear over the years that he was right. Until the explosion of Islamists across the globe. Now it is clear that the Islamists are the real threat.
Putin’s priorities are not ours. But I don’t think he believes we are a threat to Russia. I suspect he holds Obama in extreme contempt, wonders how the US could be so stupid as electing and reelecting him. I’m still asking myself that same question.
