I find the whole mess confusing. So apparently the US is leading its Allies in air strikes within Syria and Iraq. So is the US doing these strikes with Assad’s permission? Maybe Assad doesn’t mind since it is against ISIS?

At last something the Russians and USA can agree on. First trip Trump should take is the St. Petersburg for a meeting with Putin and his military men. Bring along his people to co-ordinate strikes to give the ISIS followers a chance to meet their 75 Virgins.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend?

The enemy of my enemy might be useful but is still my enemy?

I agree with your comments about Putin but wouldnt obama do the same if he could get away with it? Obama wants to destroy his political opponents AND the United States. At least Putin wants to protect strengthen and defend his own country which is much more than i can say for obama. But then again the U.S. isnt even Obama’s own country.

I would like to see US support for Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland, and maybe Romania (not sure about this one though). Kick out the muzzies everywhere.

There will be more gnashing of teeth from the Assad haters like McLame and Graham.

That is an added bonus!

We were on the wrong side. Now we are on no side at all.

>>>”ICP, Iranian Communist Party’s”<<<

Gotta be careful with that acronym, because ICP also stands for “Islamic Coalition Party”, nothing like Tudeh. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_Coalition_Party

The situation in Iran is convoluted & complex. Enough to say ALL officially recognized ‘political parties’ (more like factions), since Khomeinist regime was fully established decades ago, are Islamic ones - because the Khomeinist regime, therefore the current constitution of Iran, is that of Velayat_e Faghih (Guardianship of Islamic Jurisprudence) - it isn’t even a ‘governing’ body, but more a ruling entity or group.

Tudeh and alike are pretty much on the periphery.

In terms of your comment, only agree the Russians would know and would have more intimate knowledge & understanding of today’s Iran than any western power (include in that Israel). Though, that has little to do with any ‘communist party’ in or out of Iran.

It seems they purposely keep the issues confused. I thought I read the Us was arming ISIS to take down Assad. So, I really don’t know who we are bombing.
