During her reign, she chalked up $1.2 billion for her vacations at taxpayer expense. She also loves the adoration she thinks she gets when she goes on TV. I haven't counted, but I cannot recall any President or First Lady (man, I almost choked on that...) who have appeared on more TV shows than these two. She is so right! It feels like the whole concept of hope that is necessary is a necessary concept to keep from feeling like not having hope... necessarily. It is unfortunate that Michelle's long-delayed pride in the USA has an eight year expiration date, but, see, when the necessary concept just isn't there anymore, it feels exactly like not having the hope concept (which is necessary).

Some people say Barack is the greatest communicator in the history of civilization, but we now have proof that the Obama family has a deep philosophical and rhetorical bench. Michelle is every bit as erudite as she is gracious and self-effacing.

Nobody else mentioned it that I saw, but my impression of the Michelle Obama clip was that she compared the American people to a child who bumps his head and needs daddy Barack's affirmation not to cry about it.

Saw part of the interview where she was discussing the “weight being lifted off her shoulders”, now that they're leaving. She came off as completely ungrateful for any of the opportunities these 8 years have afforded her. Most infuriatingly, she clearly feels no gratitude for the $85 million she, her mother, kids and friends blew threw traveling the world. Complete and utter bitch.

America is filled with hope– look at the freaking stock market since Trump won.

Imagine being Obama (or Moochelle) and realizing the harsh light that will be cast on their legacy once they don’t control the message anymore. Without the threat of the race card, they’ll be stripped bare and shown to be the grifters that they truly are.

Let's not forget about that fat pension her mother gets now for her babysitting chores....who knew you could babysit while traveling the world and gain a pension for doing so? Weren't the kids listed as senior aides? Do they get a pension, too?
