The electoral college is thwarting our ability to battle global warming
washington Post (fake news site) ^ | 12-19-16 | Todd Cort

It is this solution, brilliant at the time, that leads us to Brearley’s legacy on climate change. Because over the course of the last 200 plus years, the electoral college, which provides for stronger voting power per person in more rural and less populated states, has elected four U.S. presidents who clearly lost the popular vote (1876, 1888, 2000 and 2016). Two of those elections have occurred during the period in which we have known about the causes and impacts of carbon dioxide emissions and climate change and in both cases, the impacts of those elections have very likely had profound impacts on our actions to address the challenge.

The electoral college is interfering with liberals efforts in (fill in the blank) areas, which are crises per liberal theology.

Whether its global warming or transgender bathroom issues, homosexual rights, homelessness, people in poverty, problems in schools, whatever the cause, we could say that the electoral college throws a monkey wrench into liberals plans to transform the country.

I want to see if this meme comes up with other subjects too.

Maybe we don’t need to be worrying about battling a non-problem.

California just wants to be in charge of the world.

Everything you need to know about the climate change agenda was stated quite clearly by the UN's top climate official in 2015:

"This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history.

"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution. That will not happen overnight and it will not happen at a single conference on climate change, be it COP 15, 21, 40 - you choose the number. It just does not occur like that. It is a process, because of the depth of the transformation."
--Christiane Fugueres, Executive Secretary of UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change)

No! Climate change is affecting our ability to quash the electoral college. Putin hacked the climate. The Dems are just along for the ride and Berie is in it for the pastrami sammich. The EC both made Trump win AND made it super cold so they are aligned with each other. The consensus is in.

presidents who clearly lost the popular vote

Because we are a Union of States, the overall popular vote is irrelevant in presidential elections. The popular vote PER STATE is the one identified in The Constitution.

Without CO2 life itself would be impossible.
The most that increased CO2 does is increase plant growth.
Formerly arid areas are greening up.
The temperature on earth is determined by the source of all heat, the Sun.
Figure out how to regulate the Sun if you want to control the temperature.

Yes, it is 50 individual elections, one must win more of them than the other.

I like to use a baseball analogy, the team that scores the most runs overall in the World Series is not the winner. The one that wins the most games is.
