Not really an option between the budget and living in podunkville. The last time UPS delivered something, the idiot slid it under the car so we didn’t find it for a couple days. Two or three weeks ago, I was visiting a neighbor and we were sitting right by the front door and windows. Didn’t see the UPS guy or hear him so he intentionally parked away from the house and sneaked in from the side. The package had “perishable” printed all over it and the return address was obviously a food company. The ice packs were melted and the inside of the plastic wrap was all sticky from the cheesecake topping that had oozed through. Uh huh, he knew better than to knock on the door with that mess. If I hadn’t left out the front door, no telling how long it would have sat there in the sun.

There was a McDs in a pretty hairy part of Oakland that was run by an older Marine guy back in the 90’s. Him and everyone I saw working there was black, and if you were going to eat McDonalds that was one to go out of your way to patronize. It was always spotless and the food was quick and piping hot.
I don’t know what ever happened to him but i hit it a few years back and it was 180 degrees. Homies everywhere, beggars at drive through, crap service and food...
