Dem Rep on Russian Hacking: 'I Only Know What I'm Reading in the Newspapers'

The CIA reportedly found that the Russia hacks were part of an effort to help put Donald Trump in the White House, a conclusion that the president-elect strongly rejects.

 

“Did you hear from intelligence sources that Russia’s intent was to put Donald Trump in the White House?” CNN host Carol Costello asked Engel on Monday.

 

“I haven’t heard from intelligence sources,” Engel said. “I only know what I’m reading in the newspapers, but intelligence sources have not contacted members of Congress. I’m calling on the intelligence sources to brief the members of Congress to give us a thorough briefing as to what they know and why they came to the conclusion that they came with.”

 

Engel also said he believes that congressional committees should hold hearings to investigate the Russian

Actually we are way past that now since this has been made political by the CIA or democrats playing with the CIA. It is time for the CIA to prove to the American people that the Russians "hacked" the election since they are trying to undermine a legitimate election.

Show it to the American people or shut up is the way I see it.

Don’t secretly show it to electoral college, but not to the American people. That sounds very shady to me. If they want to play the “security” background malarky, then have they done a security background check on all the members? Please give me a break!

Sounds to me what they have is very flimsy, and this is why they will not release it to the public.

Finally the FBI and the top intelligence source in our country said theses CIA reports are Bull $hit.

I consider this entire fiasco an insult to American voters. The implication is that NOBODY would vote for Trump. Well, we did,and it certainly wasn’t because some foreign entity forced us to.

I’m also aware that it was Clinton herself who put top secret material on an illegal server with weak passwords. And, we also know via a paper teail tjat her own operatives such as Soros and Podesta DO have profitable Russian connecrions.

Furthermore, what happened to the Epstien, pizzagate issues in the news? They flew away, didn’t they? Yep, a typical wag the dog scenario ala Clinton style.

And finally, even if Russia put their two cents worth in, it doesn’t mean it was at Trump’s behest. He may have been the beneficiary of it, but does that mean that the intent was to put him in the presidency? No. It more likely means that the orld doesn’t want Clinton and a continuance of the Clinton/ Obama policies. Could it mean that Russia preferred Trump? Sure. Especially if it means a weakening of China as a world power.

I would say however that the entire thing was Hillary’s fault due to her handling of secret conrent.

Once again she dwpends on the stupidity od her minions to pull this stunt off.

Seeing as Podesta is known to have downloaded and installed a virus on his computer and Clinton had the insecure server and multiple devices, I would say they hacked themselves while the Russian and Chinese hackers watched and laughed in disbelief.
