This is the first thing Trump has done that’s dumb.
Perry is the poster frat boy of the GOPe RINOs
I am from Texas. I got a long list of crony activities and big government grabs he has been involved in.
Has me wondering how many of these appointments are being made to remove people from their current positions more than to advance them to new ones.

How disappointing. All those months of Trump flushing the snakes out of the brush, and some people still trust our irredeemably corrupt and depraved political class.
Then it needs to be eliminated.
Eliminate every department Perry can’t recall.
So, the man who will run the energy department campaigned on getting rid of the energy department.
Prediction....he will be a great president.

Dismantle it from the inside.
Perry could never be effective at a Federal level from the State without an inside guy.
Nobody could, but he gave them a fight and the Feds fought back

You haven’t shown any compelling evidence to support your point that Trump’s picking of Governor Perry is not draining the Swamp. Was Perry in Washington DC running the federal government at any point to have him associate with Washington? As far as I know the Secretary of Energy deals with Energy related issues and promoting pro Energy strategies for the country. Texas is number 1 in the country.
All I’m saying is that I’ll take Trump’s thought process of picking his cabinet over yours any time.
Now Perry is in Washington
I guess wearing those glasses made him look smart enough, wonder if Trump made him take an IQ test to qualify.
Most of what folks have been critical about Perry is that he had his arm twisted at the federal level.

I hope Gov. Perry gets a new pair of glasses before he's sworn in. His present ones hide his eyes and he looks like a dope in them.

Perry was not in Washington DC and was a strong supporter of Trump. He knows the Dept of Energy well because he’s butted heads with them in Texas. So you’re post is right on. But drop the “All I’m saying” because it sounds apologetic.
