I know it’s fake, but I found this statement interesting:

’ F/A-37 ... with approximately a 4,000nm range. ‘

That would be 4000 nanometers or 4 x 10-9 meter, which is nothing.

The F-35 "is technologically advanced in many areas that when fully integrated into the battle space sensors as to be nearly unbeatable."

Sounds like we are only a few generations in technology from SKYNET territory.

Errr... 4,000 nm is equal to 4,000 nautical miles, with one nautical mile being about 6,076 ft.

4,000 nm = 4,603.12 sm - where sm is statute miles.

nm has nothing to do with that foreign metric stuff...:^)

Our next Super Carrier should have the name "USS Vengeance 9/11"

If you were a pilot in the US military you’d be very happy to be flying an F-35, because it will be the hardest to kill aircraft in any theater. Of course you obviously have no experience with any of these kinds of projects so who cares what you think about it, since you’ll never be tasked with flying in a combat environment. And yes, when the next war happens the F-35 will be seen as one of the best defense investments of all time, whereas the LCS, both models, will be considered one the worst defense investment of all time. Either way when one gives an opinion without any real knowledge of the subject matter one usually makes oneself look foolish and you’ve managed that quite well.

nm means nautical miles, not nanometers.

It came from a Hollywood movie called “Stealth”.

Why do people keep posting that crap as the "NEW US fighter jet"? It's a Hollywood prop and nothing more. Sheesh.

No use trying to argue. People read leftist anti military hit piece articles against the F-35 and believe them. Some people believe anything they read.

I don't see how you can make a reasonable assumption about my experience or knowledge regarding anything anything. You might be surprised. You are the one who look foolish; for, you are getting your exercise by jumping to conclusions and being an outright ass.

Uh huh. That machine HAS been one of the most expensive projects ever undertaken by any nation on the face of the planet. It is still not ready to do its job. It is the "Shop Smith" of the fighter jet: It can do everything, yet a shop full of individual machines each with its own motor does a better job. Then there are those Swiss Army knives that are about two inches wide. Lots of tools, most of which collapse on your hand because the thing can't be held by human hands. That is just the way things always seem to work out.

The Apollo program cost less and went much further.

Considering your comment about the F-35 I could be reasonably certain that you have no actual information about the F-35’s capabilities except that which you read in the mostly inaccurate news media. That much is for sure, because if you had even rudimentary knowledge of the F-35’s actual capabilities, you’d never make such an ignorant statement about it.

Consider discussing the issues rather than merely conducting attacks on people’s character. But, maybe you’d prefer to lead conversations in the same manner as our leftist-extremist Hillary supporters.

I have criticized your statements and the fact that you obviously make statements about subjects that you have little to no real information about and I’ve stated quite clearly the exact points to which I’ve referred. So stop being a little snowflake and admit that you know nothing about the F-35 program other than what you’ve read in the main stream media. And all I contend is that one who only gets their info about that project from the msm is severely misinformed. None of that is a personal attack so quite being a crybaby and making a buffoon of yourself, first by making statements that are erroneous at best and then by whining when you’re ignorance of the subject is proven. Whaaaaa Whaaaaaaa Whaaaaaaaa. I think you need your diaper changed.

“It is still not ready to do its job”

False. The F-35 is has been operational for a while now.
Norway, Japan, the UK, Israel and others have all started taking delivery of F-35s.
We have two training bases in full operation training F-35 pilots as fast as they can. This thing is here now, it is operational and it is here to stay. It is time for those ignorant of aircraft and military procurement to stop whining about what they don’t understand. Even TALKING about canceling it would be a huge mistake, pissing off our closest allies and emboldening our enemies. That is why the LEFT wants you to keep talking about it.
