Wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
Something interesting is going on here - something that immigrants - (in my experience, particularly Caribbean immigrants of color) are acutely aware of. Look at the name: Onasi Olio-Rojas.
Onasi is a rather uncommon Italian name, but is also the name of a Star Wars character. Olio-Rojas is a hyphenated Hispanic name; and from looking at the kid’s Negroid features, I’d guess he was from the Dominican Republic.
War Story: Decades ago in Miami I worked at a print shop with a Jamaican printer (black). He had attended a formal printing school, was educated, extremely talented, and was paid well for it. He had two boys - aged 6 and 7. Great guy.
One day, out of the blue, he announced he was moving the family back to Jamaica. Why? Better job? Nope - “We’ll have to move in with my parents”. He finally told us why. He had attended a neighborhood dinner party attended mostly by American blacks. One woman started on a “I hate the G-d damned white man” rant, and all to many of his neighbors joined in.
“OK, so what’s that have to do with you?” His answer: “I don’t want my boys to grow up with that hate - the pressure is just too strong in a black neighborhood - they’ll be sucked in”. Then after a long pause, said “In other words, I don’t want them to grow up to be ni**ers. But we’ll be back in when they’re ready for college”. He sold his house, and the family toughed it out in Kingston. 10 years later they were back.
So (I’m confabulating here) mom and dad move to the USA in search for a better life, work like animals in sh!t jobs - all for their kid; the kid gets immersed in this crap, and turns into a POS. Sad.
sometimes the idiots weed themselves out for us.
Wetback?
