Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has a message for his fellow thespians: Stop talking politics.
The star of Patriots Day, an upcoming film on the Boston Marathon bombing, sat down with Task and Purpose to promote his work. The website, which is dedicated to issues of interest to veterans, asked him what he thought of Hollywoods recent attempts to undercut Republican Donald Trumps presidential campaign.
A lot of celebrities did, do, and shouldnt, Mr. Wahlberg told the website. You know, it just goes to show you that people arent listening to that anyway. They might buy your CD or watch your movie, but you dont put food on their table. You dont pay their bills. A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble. Theyre pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family.
The actor went on to say that although he is at ease navigating the entertainment industry and enjoying its perks, he still understands what its like not to have all that.

“I’m the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy.”
Good movie, great line.
He was great in “Invincible.” I hate the Philadelphia Eagles, but that was a good movie.
also was great in the Fighter as Mickey Ward...
Good Vibrations
It has nothing to do with this, but China Chow was extremely hot in his The Big Hit.
Don’t go chasing waterfalls, Mark.
If actors would only speak of things that they know, t’would be as silent as a Trappist Monk convention.
I think I heard he’s a pretty devout Catholic, who regularly attends Mass.
HOORAY Mark Wahlberg

He must be willing to be a non-person. The other day when Fritz Weaver died, the review of his character in Holocaust intentionally left out James Woods’ name while mentioning Meryl Streep and the other actors.
Yeah! Nobody miss “Invincible”.
Great movie.
Watch with my son for the have a dream / hard work lesson.
Well... at least every day would be like Inside the Actors’ Studio.
That’s right! When the Pope was here, he was one of the people who participated in the event in Philadelphia and was very excited about it, and spoke of his own Catholicism and devotion to his faith.
