You are absolutely correct. That’s why Zell Miller’s book “A National Party No More” is so revealing.. He saw it coming and opted for retirement from the circus. I do believe my parents were democrats even tho’ politics was never discussed in the home. My parents drove to town to vote and that’s as near as they came to bringing the subject to the dinner and supper table. I just put 2 and 2 together later in my life. That would have put them in the decades when democrats weren’t as objectionable as they are today - FDR/Truman/JFK and I guess I’ll end there...After that, I really can’t say as I had moved 3000 miles away when Ike was in office - probably never did change.

They are worse but it’s very similar to how they were in the past. They’ve been devoted to socialism for decades. Kennedy and HHH were socialist swine.
Easy on the praise there, Tim Ryan is still a 90% communist, he’s not an American. Very few rats in Congress are. He’d have had a different message but the same policies, tax and spend.
