Mnuchin will be Treasury Secretary Ross will lead the Commerce Department. President-elect Donald Trump has filled more top posts on his economic team — picking former Goldman Sachs executive Steven Mnuchin as treasury secretary and financier Wilbur Ross to lead the Commerce Department.
Mnuchin is confirming that he and Ross are joining Trump’s Cabinet, pending confirmation by the Senate.
He tells CNBC’s “Squawk Box” in an interview Wednesday that “we’re thrilled to work for the president-elect and honored to have these positions.”
Mnuchin says “sustained economic growth” is the chief priority of the incoming administration and he says “we can absolutely get to sustained 3 to 4 percent” in the gross domestic product.

Wonder now if this isn’t the model transition of all time.
That’s THE Steve Mnuchin, Hollywood mogul, whose personal fortune was buoyed by Dune Capital, financed by his then-boss, George Soros.
Now he works for us and the new hardcore boss.
He is ex Goldman and just as bad ex Soros.....he has a mountain to climb, to prove he is Ok.
As for draining the Swamp.....v doubtful now...v sad.
He should have put a Quartermaster General.
I trust he's putting people we can have confidence in at key positions. We know he likes successful people who will be loyal, so choosing some billionaire friends shouldn't be surprising. He just has to remember what he said he learned throughout the campaign....politicians can't be trusted.

He has one job which is killing Dodd/Frank and deregulating the banking industry. He does that and he is a success.

Mnuchin is yet another Goldman-Sachs/Soros operative. These guys are like the mob... I don’t trust anyone who made his career amongst these fellas.

I’m beginning to have my doubts as well. I was hoping that maybe, finally, we might have an investigation into the people and organizations funded by the Soros empire that are working to undermine our society, our culture, our collective American values and our electoral system, including this recount BS. I’m thinking there’s no way that’s going to happen now.
Concur. Goldman Sachs controls America so that won’t change.
