An animal lover who claims to look after stray cats at home has been caught butchering the felines before selling them to restaurants, according to Chinese media. Sickening images have emerged showing dozens of cats killed, frozen and even decapitated at the man's tiny warehouse in Chengdu, south-west China. An undercover investigation carried out by the local Chengdu Business Daily revealed that the man, named Huang Fuping, sold the dead cats as rabbits to meat vendors in rural China for 20 yuan per kilogram (£2.3).

Would it have been better if he’d sold them to the restaurants as-is, and then they were “butchered” by the individual cooks?
It’s unlikely anyone is surprised by this, and equally unlikely that anyone noticed a shortage of stray cats.

I have a cat and a dog. I would not eat either species under normal conditions. Love them.
But to raise them for a food source, and to humanely dispatch them, I have no problem. To steal them from families for food or vivisection I have a big problem. To use dogs in the dog fighting ring, I have a big problem.
Being raised in western society I turn my nose up on these animals for food (8 hunt and eat venison without a thought).
Eastern societies don’t have this problem and I grant them that.
There’s a use for feral cats after all! And who says the Chinese don’t innovate!
We had a great little local butcher shop. We went into it and they had a tray of whole skinned rabbits in one of the display coolers.
I made the mistake of pointing them out to the wife with the comment: “Look at the cats”.
After she woke up, I said I was sorry, they were not cats, they were rabbits.
After she woke up the second time, I helped her out of the shop and she would never go back.
Man, that really lets you know if your wife really loves you. 35 years ago and still going strong, but I never tell that story or remind her.

People will care more about this atrocity than the greater atrocity of millions of babies butchered on the altar of personal convenience.
As an animal lover this sickens me, but as a people-lover, the abortion industry is causing the death of America from God’s coming judgment on our nation.
In this respect, I am shocked that God allowed Trump to win seeing as we deserve everything the crooked politicians can do to us up to and including globalism.
