France published an official notification Thursday urging businesses to use labels to identify goods produced in the Israeli settlements, prompting a swift condemnation from Israel.
It was not immediately clear whether the notice published in the French Official Journal is binding for retailers or a recommendation. A press official with the trade ministry said late Thursday she was not aware of the notification and couldnt immediately say whether it was mandatory or advisory.
In Nov. 2015, the European Union recommended that its member states put special labels on exports from the West Bank, but said the technical guidelines on the indication of origin were in no way a boycott.

Sounds like France is on the verge of getting into a pan-Israel boycott, using this as its rationale.
Let France do it, if it must. It will discover it is stupid.

They’re getting under the thumb of folks who believe in sharia and sharia alike.
Let France do that if it must. Nice knowin’ ya, cheese eating chums. Call us when you have enough of the goat treatment.

Rather pointless.
I’d think that those who boycott Israeli products won’t buy anything made there... whether made in Israel or in the settlement areas.

France has always been known for great food and restaurants. Now they're serving up their entire country on a silver platter to invading barbarians and allowing said barbarian animals to decide their national policies. Let's see how trading their native industrious brainy Jews for Muzzlimes works out for them. Their Jews are emigrating to Israel, and now France doesn't want to benefit from Israel's numerous life-changing technology developments either. Antisemitism over brains and common sense.
Stupid jerks.

I wonder what label we should put on anything made in the no-go areas of France (not that they’re actually manufacturing anything there, but I’m just wondering as a theoretical matter). Those places aren’t really France anymore, that’s for sure.

French Jews are taking all their intellectual, productive, and financial capital to Israel. They’re sick of Musloids running amok in France & are willing to face an even greater Muslim threat in the Middle East, in order to return to the Jewish homeland.
Froggies aren’t yet even aware of this tremendous brain drain.

Maybe France thinks this will placate the Muslim terrorists living on their streets?

Putting “Palestinian” Arabs out of work must be the perfect way to do it, then. Because that is what they are doing.
