You want to fix America's roads and bridges? Repeal the Davis-Bacon Act. Or is it the Mason-Dixon Act?

Whichever one requires local municipalities to pay outrageous Union wages for infrastructure maintenance and construction.

Not needed. Obama spent $700billion to fix infrastructure.

Nothing left to fix.

Obama spent $700billion to fix infrastructure.

And, if you recall, we had years of Continuing Resolutions after that, so that spend was baked in for years. We should have the best highways, bridges, trains, airports, pipelines, waterways, all the way down to the local level.

All the while my small town starts turning our crumbling paved streets back into gravel.

I just heard on NPR, that bastion of intellect, how Democrats REALLY know a good infrastructure bill. It MUST include NEW DOLLARS, not tax credits that will only go to free market private companies.

Spend tax payer money fixing up THIS country & taking care of our elderly & our vets. No money needs to leave this country. We have so much to do here.

re: All the while my small town

Get the Feds out of transportation.
The interstate highway system is done. Mission Accomplished.

Let the states take over all gas, oil, tire, airport and other transportation taxes. What is needed now is maintenance and a few connectors and spurs.

The Feds should focus on terrorism, cybercrime and bigger things than maintenance.
