The hospital is going to be in a world of hurt.

This is a gross violation of HIPPA. I work in a hospital. I had to get permission to take pictures of areas of my workplace. Not only did have to get approval, I had to let them review the photos (for a training manual) to make sure there was no patient information on the monitors on the desks.

Allowing for a patient’s privacy to be violated like that—no matter who the patient is—is at least a six to seven figure lawsuit.

The player from the NY Giants sued ESPN for the same thing and won. He blew part of his fingers off with fireworks. The ESPN reporter got the pictures from the hospital and published them.

ESPN argued tgat because of his celebrity ststus the public’s right to know outweighed his right to privacy.

Any news that puts the Criminal News Network in trouble is good news.

“ESPN argued tgat because of his celebrity ststus the public’s right to know outweighed his right to privacy.”

And they were told NO, it doesn’t; pay the man.

Which is all to the good.
