It’s not too stealthy with a tugboat towing you through the waters, I’ll wager.

This to be expected with any new design this complex, hence the testing and evalutation phase. They’ll get it sorted out.

They will get it sorted out. But we are putting too much money into too few, very high value, naval vessels.

Some realism: when the nitwits in Congress limit the number of procurements of a new system to try to hold down costs it is unavoidable that the per unit cost increases dramatically. Moreover, the costs associated with maintenance and operation goes up as well.
There is an old saying that the best is the enemy of good enough. The costs that come from running foul of this truism are compounded when people try to have but a few of the best.
Washington DC is an erupting, festering boil of stupid on the backside of the nation.

Compare it with the Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyers. Look at what drives those ships. I don’t believe the Type 45s are doing so well either.

Well, better to break down in the Panama Canal than the China Sea.

I'm not overly concerned with "bugs". Maybe a little that the bugs are significant. But I am a bit concerned by this tidbit...
The ship also made headlines earlier this month when multiple outlets reported that the missiles fired from its 155mm Advanced Gun System, at $800,000 apiece, were too expensive for the Navy to buy in large quantities, raising questions about the effectiveness of the ship's weapons.
We built a weapon but can't afford the ammunition for it? OMG! That's embarrassing. How soon does Trump take over?

They’re going to need to sort out similar seawater intrusion problems that the new LCS ships are having as well.
