I am pretty sure the entire length will be walled. Otherwise, it pushes the illegals onto the Texas border & makes ranchers there even more vulnerable. There already have been ranchers shot, cattle killed & other lawlessness on lands along the border. Of course, there also is the idea of arresting the snowflakes who are protesting & giving them a sentence of whatever time it takes to build the wall—and make them help.
Maybe they will get a few calluses & learn about hard work!!!

Put together a consortium of construction companies & combine their skills. Pay only regular wages—not ‘UNION equivilant’. Bonus for every day it is completed ahead of time. Penalty for every day it is overtime. More bonus for under budget with any changes in materials specifications.
C C Myers rebuilt the Santa Monica Freeway in Los Angeles after the 1994 earthquake—under budget & under time. He split the bonus money with all the workers who stayed thru their entire time needed. He asked other construction companies all across the country for some of their best workers—operated 24/7 under lights—and housed many of the workers in a brand new apartment near the site that hadn’t leased yet. He also built 2 racetracks—under budget & under time.
IT can be done. Get the best & get them to work.
I would bet money that volunteers would also show up. They want the illegals OUT of their job sites.
