'Hamilton' star Brandon Victor Dixon's tweets surprising given on-stage Pence letter reading?

President-elect Donald Trump took to social media this weekend to demand an apology from the cast of “Hamilton” after star Brandon Victor Dixon read a statement from the stage about the recent election to Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who was in attendance.

Dixon said Monday morning he had "nothing to apologize for," but now he may be saying sorry for something entirely different, namely some tweets (and retweets) he made years ago, before “Hamilton” (and President-elect Donald Trump, for that matter) were even a thing.

In one, Dixon wrote this:

St. Patty's day weekend is like Christmas for black dudes who like white chicks. Happy holidays boys.

In another, he retweeted this:

For every racist comment I get about Trayvon, I'm going to turn one (1) white married, suburban housewife & mother into a jump off.

For those not in the know, a “jump off" is a casual sexual encounter.

And finally, in another, Davis wrote this:

Remember when NFL players would just play the game, bang mad ho's, and collect their checks? Guess that's not enough anymore.

@TAMIKASLAWRENCE the problem is ho's aren't what they used to be. If ho game would step up, cats wouldn't get distracted.

Marketing guru Scott Pinsker told FOX411 that Dixon’s on-stage performance on Friday, in which the actor also chided his audience for booing Pence, is at odds with these less buttoned-up social media interactions.

“It’s certainly hypocritical for Mr. Dixon to adopt the persona of a concerned civil rights statesman and dress-down Pence in a public theater, and then use that kind of language on social media,” Pinsker said. “It reeks of phoniness.”

“That’s one of the dangers of celebrities who use social media, many of us have multiple sides to our personality, and there are unintended consequences

Video at link. I know I know. Brandon Dixon was just yweeting tongue-in-cheek. This isn't who he is, his tweets are being taken out of context, this is how all the "Homies" talk (a bigoted view in and of itself) and we're haters if we object to this.

On Fox they keep showing the clip of him on the CBS show saying he has nothing to apologize for. The arrogant smirk right after he says that tells me all I need to know. Jerk.

Bah. The very concept of "racism" is merely a psyops-type construct used to control people. For example, if a man were to say "I don't like Filipinos" most people would say "racist! racist! racist!" but does that mean that the man is not free to dislike Filipinos? That he MUST like them? Why? Why can't he dislike Filipinos? Maybe he doesn't like the way they look, or the way they talk, or their cultural habits. Why in the world would any sane person say that he MUST like them? Or expect that everyone will like everyone? Are people not free to think what they want? Like who they want? Dislike who they want?

So then we move on to the next level of control. A man says, "I don't like letting so many Mexicans into our country." Then comes "racism! racism! racism!" But why? Are the man's reasons for not liking the influx negated simply because that mode of thinking is "racist"? Are the Mexicans putting any less of a strain on social services, or spiking the crime rate any less, or changing the existing culture of the USA any less whether the sentiment is "racist" or not? That answer is obviously no, so the very concept of racism has no bearing on reality or truth, yet it will be used to shut that man up, to prevent him from defending his own culture or country if he lets it.

The concept of racism, especially as the greatest sin, is merely a marxist method of behavior control. The fight should not be to stamp out racism, but to stamp out the belief that the concept of racism has any real meaning.

I don’t know if this nitwit has checked his calendar to find out that St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t necessarily fall on a weekend every year.
