Donald Trump won’t stop combative, round-the-clock tweeting because it’s the president-elect’s way of taking “his message directly to the people,” a top aide said Monday. Trump was widely mocked over the weekend for lashing out on social media against “Hamilton” and “Saturday Night Live,”

Ah, I see - Obama had a ‘modern, youth-oriented social media strategy’ but Trump merely ‘rants on Twitter.’

Trump’s twitter feed ties the fake legacy media in knots.

I love it.

Liberals were actually attacking the “safe space” of a Broadway show due to Trump’s one tweet.

Good. If there is one single thing that will render the MSM impotent this is it.

Sure isn’t going to happen because of Rush bloviating on AM radio that half the country doesn’t even know exists.

Don’t like to see President-elect Trump punching down at the Left wing media, entertainers, politicians, etc. He has a transition Twitter account that puts out info, and he will have the @POTUS account soon. He can have air time whenever he wishes. Juvenile blasts that aren’t improving his image with anyone.

Strongly disagree. Trump’s ability to bypass the conventional media and his reaching out directly to the people is why we are WINNING.

"Taking your message to the people" is one thing. Complaining about how Hamilton and Saturday Night Live are being mean to you or your vice-president are another.

He absolutely should keep the Twitter posts going. It’s an excellent way to get his message out, and he understands that a big part of the battleground in politics today consists of the media landscape.

I think Trump should ignore the words of actors beyond merely reminding Americans of the fact that actors are people that make their living pretending to be someone other than them selves.

Trump gonna Trump because it has been his success in everything he has ever done. He’s not a pol and I hope he never conforms to pol conventions. I think he’ll settle down as soon as he’s sworn in. He knows how to CEO.

Haven’t watched SNL since the Palin days anyway. Not gonna start now. I couldn’t care less about a play with a bunch of fags telling Pence what to do, and I ain’t getting near anyone selling tickets.

The only thing more disappointing than hearing about Trump’s Twitter attacks, rants, and meltdowns is to read what he actually tweeted.

Seriesly, MSM hyperbole has left them with the credibility of Chicken Little.

Calvin Coolidge didn’t like talking to politicians. He did radio addresses. He said he wanted the people to know him. He didn’t care what politicians thought of him.

We are all great at armchair quarterbacking and will continue to offer well-intentioned advice however, Trump pulled off a political victory that all the “smart people” thought was impossible by doing it his way, let Trump be Trump and see how it works out. As a candidate Trump’s use of Twitter got his message around the MSM filter and into the Oval Office, something he will need to do for his entire presidency.

Complaining about how Hamilton and Saturday Night Live are being mean to you or your vice-president are another.

You need to stop reading the headlines and start reading the tweets.

His "complaints" are about as caustic as buttermilk.

MIght as well have told FDR to stay away from that newfangled radio microphone as it would only be “Presidential” for him to write editorials for the proper newspapers.

I love that President Trump is bypassing the lamestream media.
About the only people who should get access to him are Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lou Dobbs, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage, and that's about it.
We can likely put Inga Barks and Stuart Varney in that small group, too.

The liars in the media have got to be trained to understand that the Clintons and 0bamas are no longer in power. Lying is no longer acceptable.
