Kind of hard to say it's the left doing the whining in this case...
I wish I was able to find the video of Trump himself explaining why he fights back so fiercely at the attacks against him.
But I can’t, so you’re stuck with my explanation;
He fights back in order to stop as quickly as possible any lies, whether they are about him, or about anyone or anything that is important to him.
He doesn’t attack first, he reacts, almost instantly, and with great ferociousness, against his attacker.
And he does it in a very strong way in order to put a quick end to the attack.
Someone else may be able to find the video of his own explanation.
I devoured every issue of The ‘Poon—Mad, as well. And, P.J. O’Rourke is from Toledo.
I do have this, tho it isn’t the one I was thinking of:

About a minute and half.
Baldwin is an irrelevant little bastard, who needs to shut up until he configures a comment worth a brief mention. Up yours, Baldy.
What do you wanna bet that Smart Alec also wants to dump the electoral college?
Thanks.
I understood about Trump hammerin back twice as hard, from day one. heck, he hammered a country over a golf course - not just with words but with deeds.
The Repubs never did that before and the RATs didn’t realize, that with Trump, it was forever.
I have no qualms about that, never did. My wife even liked it, after awhile.
Seems useless to direct the hammer at a bunch of people who will be make jokes about him for at least 4 years.
I still would like to see the video.
Thanks agaim
FreeRegards.
thanks.
Under the First Amendment here is no way to control fiction. There is only so much (libel laws) you can do to control journalism. What there is, is the ability to reply by the same means - freedom of the press - with which you are attacked. There is also the illegitimate, but wrongly established, FCC.
Right now, wire service journalism is the Establishment in America. And the FCC puts the imprimatur of the US government on wire service journalism.
Understand, since Platos day it has been understood that it is illegitimate to argue from the assumption of your own wisdom (or objectivity). And since journalism does so continually, it should be possible to sanction the broadcasting of journalism.
Many will blanch at that statement, but what does it mean to criticize the MSM?
There is a difference between society and government. A great difference. Only a cynic would claim that they are the same thing. And all liberals - and all MSM journalists - are cynics. Thus, journalism always sounds like a commercial for Democrats. Surprisingly enough </sarcasm> Democrats think too much money is spent on politics by people who are not journalists.
Alec is right, the Election is over and his side lost.
The Weekend Update crew went at Trump with everything they had, telling stories proven untrue as if they were fact like Trump’s Children getting Security Clearances.
The Black guy really has a problem with Trump that seeps through his Comedian persona and the White guy isn’t far behind.
The only two skits the entire Show that were palatable were the Bubble Skit (which actually surprised me considering Liberals are never self depreciating) and the CCN / Westworld Skit.
SNL is just a Liberal Propaganda outfit, not a Comedy Show.
Perhaps Alec should go talk to the rioters...
Loved the ‘Poon. When P.J. was promoting “Modern Manners” I went to his appearance at WIU in Macomb Illinois. I was in the third row. The theme of his speech was instruction in modern manners. He had recently published his “How to drive too fast on drugs, get your......” essay in Car and Driver and gotten a lot of raves (and some crap from the humor impaired) for it. During the Q&A session raised my hand and asked him why we had not received any instruction on driving technique. He them went into a dissertation on this article. A we were leaving I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to find him with his hand extended. We shook hands and he said “Thanks, I forgot that part of my speach.” We had a nice chat and I found out that we are both .220 Swift inthusiasts. Very nice guy.
Alec Baldwin has yet to show any class in public. Typical progressive.
I remember his article in C&D as well as his other stuff. He should come over here to FR!
Cool as hell you got to meet him! I read his stuff when he wrote for National Lampoon back in the 70’s...
We haven’t watched SNL in years, because it has been totally UN-funny since the early 80s. The solution to this is just not watch it.
“I remember his article in C&D as well as his other stuff. He should come over here to FR!”
I wouldn’t doubt that he’s here using an alias such as “Drunken Mick”.
