Somebody needs to explain to Donald that important people do not spend their time obsessing about the small shit(s). Seriously. All he is doing is making himself look petty and ensuring attention for people who normally would not get a footnote in the news coverage. If he is going to react this way every time someone says something unpleasant about him or pokes fun at him then this is going to be a long four years.

Alec wasn’t funny as Trump! I haven’t seen the last two shows but Alec played trump as dumb and grumpy and mean. That isn’t trump. That is just a mocking of trump.
MacKinnon who played Hillary seemed to inhabit Hillary, really “get” her, and act as Hillary (but with more honest lines!). She won an Emmy for it, she was so good. Likewise, the guy with bipolar who has played trump on the show for 20 years, inhabits Trump, really gets him, and plays his part with aplomb. They should have him do it.
If SNL didn’t do Hillary throwing a fit when she lost, sobbing on the ground, then I don’t want to see it.

IMO Trump should in his subtle (ha!) way keep up this needling of the left.
Particularly in this very sophisticated way he has of stimulating them to generate their own poison. It’s very clever, it is very subtle, and he has this way of disarming them even as he causes them to go to a higher level of freaking nuts over their own Kool-Aide. I can’t quite describe it schematically, but it is simply a brilliant tactic. Part of it is that he lives rent-free in their heads.
It very much reminds me of my most admired legal tactic (since I am involved with several lawyers and I love litigation stories) which is to maneuver a plaintiff into a situation where they accidentally end up suing themselves.

The ONLY thing this can do is to strengthen the support he has among people who are not hard-wired left. Who will never support Trump anyway, under any conditions. Even if Trump gets laws passed that produce clearly beneficial effects for these disparate and motley groups, eg; these things we call “facts”, they will never let go of their collective tantrums.
Especially if the laws or regs are beneficial to “all” and these motley groups somehow lose what they perceive to be a piece of their special victimization status. Drives them batty. Brilliant!
