>Consensus doesn’t mean truth.

Right. If an experiment has a clearly stated hypothesis, and conclusions are testable and falsifiable, then it just takes one scientist.

The problem with AGW is that the conclusions are neither testable nor falsifiable. Is it really science, or just scientists speculating?

What happened to “97%”?

It’s been reduced to “ovwewhelmimg.”

If you took out all those on the global warming gravy train, all the people who have ZERO technical training, and all the leftist nut cases, you’d be left with almost no believers.

The steelworkers should be jumping for joy in anticipation of the return of REAL jobs when growth hits 4-5%. They won’t have enough journeymen to handle all the work. They better start ramping up their apprentice programs right now.

Yes, why isn’t it that simple. “My predecessor illegally signed the treaty without the advisement and consent of the US Senate. Therefore the US is not a participant.”

Then, Trump asks: “Senate, what say you?” and they formally reject it. End of story.

Donald Trump is already trying to figure out how he can pull the United States out of the historic Paris climate deal as quickly as possible

Let me help.

Call a press conference on January 20, 2017 and announce that since this treaty was never ratified by the Senate that it is null and void, and ask if there are any questions.

Done.

I have to say, if I didn’t know any better I would think that Trump is already the president. He’s working overtime already. By inauguration day, he will have accomplished more that Zero did in 8 years (with the exception of the number of golf rounds).

Just send a letter that the agreement was not ratified by the Senate therefore the United States is not bound by it.

Music to my ears.

yep, that’s how you do it. Trump says that the agreement is in reality a treaty and submits to the Senate for ratification. It fails to get the requisite votes and, voila! it goes in the circular file.

Do the idiots running the United Steelworkers get the message that steel manufacturing would be shut down by the global climate change delusionists?

Arrrrrgh! There is no “withdraw”!! Despite Ebola’s earnest wishes, the presidency is not a dictastership. Won’s signature without Senate ratification is meaningless.

I can’t imagine he’s even required to submit it, if it’s a treaty be doesn’t want to enter. If Ebola wanted if so much, and believed he could get it approved, he should have submitted it. Trump isn’t beholden to Ebola’s policy agenda.

The “consensus” is only among climate “scientists” because that is what they do. There is no such consensus among atmospheric physicists. CO2 has only a trivial influence on air temperature so Mr. Trump is quite right.
