“Consensus doesn’t mean truth.”
The built case via the scientific method, and the reproduction of results, equals truth in science, or it should, anyways.
To: mdittmar
An overwhelming consensus of Trump voters has determined that global warming is a hoax. This game is fun!

and hopes to keep the world below 2° C of warming. Never mind that the Roman Warming Period (one of the most prosperous eras in history) was on average 3 degrees warmer than now. Must have been the poop from all those horses pulling chariots.

Climate changes have happened throughout time.
There have been numerous ice ages in earth’s history.
During the last ice age, Chicago was buried under a mile of ice. How did that all ice melt, expect for changes in the climate, so that warmer weather came along eventually. The climate didn’t get warmer due to Cro Magnon Man having coal fired power plants.
What about periods such as the medieval warm period?? Greenland used to be a Green Land; that’s how it got its name. When the Vikings sailed there, the land was green.
