ROBERTS COUNTY, TX (KFDA) -

A small town in the Texas Panhandle is having to deal with some unwanted attention after being dubbed the "Most Pro-Trump county in the Nation."

Though the election is over, voices of supporters for both parties remain loud and clear.

But the small town of Miami is being criticized for how they voted. More than 95 percent of Roberts County voters cast their ballot for President-Elect Donald Trump, the highest of any county in the United States.

I made a note of it. If I move to Texas, I know where to go.

Compare to the press coverage they would have gotten for 95% Hillary votes, should she have -God forbid!- won.

There are precincts in Philly where Romney got no votes, but I did not see any liberal hand-wringing over that.

But I guess it was ok when 115% of the vote in North Philadephia went for Obama in 2012, and there was not ONE SINGLE VOTE for Romney found there.

Somehow, that’s OK...

I see.

Hey liberals, why don’t you go and criticize these guys in person. Have a big rally. I bet that would be well received.

I wouldn’t consider that “unwanted attention”. It’s a blessing to know at least 95% of your neighbors voted for Trump!

More like a second home for Boone Pickens. He has had a large ranch out that way for quite some time where goes quail hunting with friends and business associates. Primarily, he lives in the Dallas area where his business is located.

As much comment as OK draws for being the only state in the union to have all 77 counties go for the Republican candidate in the last three elections, I would have figured one of our counties would have been right up there with this one in the Texas Panhandle.

That's nothing. I heard that one county in Pennsylvania (Philadelphia-city) voted at rates of more than 100% for Obama in 2012 and 2016.

Oops, that should be 2008 and 2012.
