Thousands of sensitive assets belonging to U.S. Secret Service agents, including firearms, computer laptops, work badges, telephones and even motor vehicles, have been lost during the past 15 years, according to documents obtained by nonprofit government watchdog Judicial Watch.
This is supposedly an elite law enforcement agency how did all this equipment get stolen? or lost. This is alarming. Every American should be alarmed about this, Judicial Watchs Irene Garcia told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Secret Service agents reported 11,780 lost or stolen assets between fiscal years 2001 and 2016, according to the data Judicial Watch received, although the agency didnt distinguish between lost and stolen items.
A total of 121 weapons/pistols were lost or stolen from 2001 through 2016, including 69 in 2002 alone. The Secret Service also reported 736 cell phones, 571 badges and six vehicles as lost or stolen in that same period. (RE

Check the clinton foundation.
Nobody here really believes they were lost or stolen do they?? My money says they were GIVEN TO THE DRUG CARTELS to keep the Money Flowing in to the CIA.
Did Judicial Watch check ebay?
Here’s a place Trump needs to get someone in charge of to clean up.
” including 69 in 2002 alone”
I’m pretty sure Obama wasn’t president in ‘02.
We-e-e-el, lost in GW’s AND Barky’s.
[We-e-e-el, lost in GWs AND Barkys.]
Don’t forget... TRUMP is the one not fit to serve!!
Have they looked under the sofa cushions?
Check Keith Ellsion’s basement.
Okay, then. An addendum to my previous post:
Have they checked under the sofa cushions at the Bush ranch?
No, but it feels like he was! Longest 8 years I can remember.
....”badges” may include the “lapel pins” issued to those other than actual USSS agents. Military Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), White House Communications Agency , Augmentee FLEAS & LEOS, Local and DOD K9, Tech Services Division etcetera.
Same applies to vehicles. 90% of vehicles used by USSS missions are local rentals. Yeah they get stolen. Then there is the Radios. My era they were Moterola Saber III’s with DES and yes they were lost and stolen or just not turned in for what ever reason.
The current USSS chief cook and bottle washer is an asshole of the nth degree and deserves all the grief he can be punished with .
I’m not excusing the losses just letting all know during my era such losses were routine . Except for the sidearms lost. Wasn’t a bullet catcher so wasn’t issued one in tech services division .
Loosing a firearm in my job was like loosing a member of my own family. Theft of firearms locked in hotel rooms or rental cars and even checked baggage if not flying on official duty etcetera was common but rare.
Did they lose their car while shopping at Walmart.
I’ve done that a few times...embarrassing.
Yet every 6 years I have to apply for a permit to simply own one let alone carry one. These apes are given one without so much as a "How do you do" and then lose them with no consequences other than an "Oops".

Can’t dispute that statement in the least.
Secret Service? Let’s see....
Gun left in toilet at brothel.
Gun slipped out unnoticed between bed and wall in hooker’s hotel room.
Traded car for drugs.
Loaned car to hooker, but she never came back.
Pants with badge on them stolen while asleep in hooker’s hotel room.
Check the lake.
What, you mean that Glock I found waiting for me in the restroom stall wasn’t a customer appreciation award?
check on eBay Saudi
I’ve done the same thing!
yeah, *cough* we lost ‘em *wink*...
Just another arm of gubbermint not accountable elites
Part of the swamp and a difficult part to drain
Or thousands of Leftist morons tweeting death threats at Trump, apparently.
Disgusting isn’t it? Maybe these years will be called “The Blind Ignorant and Disgusting Years Post Obama”.
Maybe they left them at the Columbian Ho House?
In other news: “Hookers Extorting Secret Service Agents”
What’s to stop a terrorist from using a SS badge and infiltrate the president’s guard? All badges must be changed immediately.
Gee, a little kid came dressed in a black suit for Halloween and I asked what are you? He said Secret Service and flipped out a very real looking badge. Now I wonder about the badge!
Isn’t there personal responsibility for gear issued by the agency? As a mere seaman in the Navy I remember having to sign out tools, and have them signed in when I returned them. And none of them were on the order of firearms, computer laptops, work badges, telephones or motor vehicles!
What ever became of the big black armored bus that the SS bought so Obama could do his “ Bus Tour” of the US during 2012 elections ??
Trump's fault. < /libspeak >

Yeah, everyone is crapping their pants over this “ sanctuary city” a$$hole who killed Kate Steinle in San Francisco. But no one is rattling anyone’s cage over the fact that the gun he used was stolen from a BLM Agent’s car in SF. Thus far the BLM is sorta saying “oops, sorry, we will try to do a better job of securing our guns in the future,” when the a$$hole agent who lost the gun will probably skate! My solution is to take ALL the firearms away from the BLM. Better still, disband it!
Not the limo. They purchased a full size, tricked out touring bus that he was going to tour the Midwest with.
Oh, The Black Winnebago!
Thanks for the perspective. And thank you for your service.
I got the impression it was a seriously professional organization, back when it was under Treasury.
Perhaps it should detach from DHS and go back.
So, that’s where all the Obamaphones came from.
A duty I indeed miss ....retired now.
Anyone that’s been in the military knows about the forms to fill out when things are “lost in the field”
