DETROIT (WWJ) – The youngest son of U.S. Representative John Conyers and his wife, Monica Conyers, has been reported missing in Texas.

Houston police say 21-year-old Carl Conyers was last seen Tuesday afternoon by his roommate at their apartment in South Central Houston.

Daisha Lewis, Conyers’ girlfriend, said she and several other friends received a message from Conyers’ Twitter account Wednesday morning and they momentarily thought he might have been located — but that didn’t turn out the be the case.

She was released on December 21, 2012 to a residential re-entry program in the Detroit
area and was released to home confinement in the Detroit area on January 25, 2013.
Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesman Ed Ross said Conyers earned 108 days of credit
for good behavior and was released from federal custody officially on May 16, 2013.

My disgust with Conyers started with him telling Janet Reno that she did the right thing by taking the blame for the disastrous Waco raid. I doubt she was in the loop at all, and the House Judiciary Committee let her, and the Administration, slide on all the deaths.

Haven’t been to Houston since about 1994. Wish I could remember which hotel I was staying at; we had a conference at another one about 25 miles away. Been too long.
