Nearly 50 massive and costly regulations that cost Americans and businesses 53 million more hours filing paperwork and that have already put a $42 billion hit on the U.S. economy are being teed up for President-elect Trump to cut in his first weeks in office.
Congressional officials and anti-regulation groups are tallying up some of the regulations the new president can eliminate under House and Senate rules.

That will more than pay for the wall.
Chop away President Trump, chop away.
I’m all in to make America great again!
Chop, chop!
The Blended fuel regs and the arbitrary CAFE standards are next, IMO. As well as the arbitrary 1,500 hour pilot rule.
Winning.
That’s extremely conservative and Trump kept his promise
This will reinvigorate U.S. industry and the economy
MAGA!
Trump is exceeding all my expectations! Go, Trump!
The adults are in charge again.
Someone to say “No”.
Trump needs to tell the story of presidential candidate, ex-Sen George McGovern (Liberal Democrat On Steroids).
At retirement, he bought a hotel, figuring he’d have a nice income and a job for his old age.
But he was forced into bankruptcy; the business could not make money AND abide by all the federal/state regulations imposed on them.
McGovern later said passing regulations seemed like a good idea in the Senate....but he had no idea what was happening in the real world and the onerous burdens the regs placed on struggling businesses.
That’s going to cause an upswing in the unemployment of useless degree office drones. Can they be retrained as plumbers, electricians, and motor grader operators?
The money saved will go back to the American people. Mexico is paying for the wall.
To quote W, referencing people thrown out of work due to offshoring, they can go to community college, learn a trade.
$42B? Is that all? I thought it might be closer to a $T.
Give it time, give it time.
Offshoring took useful and productive jobs. Shuffling papers is not a productive use of one’s time. There is a big difference there.
Will Trump instruct the Dept. of Labor to revise the published unemployment numbers to the real world numbers?
Take THAT Obama! Take that RATS!
How about some real double-entry accounting. Not, the smoke and mirrors crud that DC has been using for decades.
