Twitter has initiated a major purge of prominent accounts associated with the alt-right exactly a week after GOP President-elect Donald Trump’s stunning electoral victory.
One of the first and most prominent accounts caught up in the deletion is Richard Spencer, president and director of the National Policy Institute, an alt-right think tank focused on white identity and related policy issues.

Until six months ago, I had never even seen the term "Alt-Right."
And I still have almost no idea what it is, or what it stands for.
I’m not sure, but I think the Alt-right is younger people, with a more in-your-face style. So some 20-something guy posting news and witty things with a few F-bombs thrown in for good measure.
I’m not sure if that Milo guy is “alt-right” - but that’s what I think of.
I know my kids like some of them.
Twitter, Facebook and Google are going to be in for a rude awakening when Trump’s FCC declares them to be “networks” subject to regulation, and thus these actions will be unlawful
