Morning Joe spent its opening segment scalding the notion of either Rudy Giuliani or John Bolton as Secretary of State in the Trump administration. Giuliani was described as completely unqualified for the job, and someone who has personally profited off national security matters, a la the Clintons. Bolton was blasted as a “neo-con on steroids” whose views are out of sync with Trump’s, and is “donor-driven,” with Sheldon Adelson’s name being dropped.
So who’s Scarborough and company’s pick for SecState? Joe and Mike Barnicle called the selection of Tennessee Senator Bob Corker a “no-brainer.” Maybe so, but not necessarily in the way they meant it. Corker is infamously the man who facilitated President Obama’s disastrous Iran deal. Corker has been castigated across the conservative spectrum, as here, here, here and here.

Who cares what that loser thinks? He’s gotten everything wrong since he decided that Trump wasn’t worthy because he was a racist bastard for wanting to keep muslim hordes in their own country.
Morning Joe thinks Corker—the guy who made the Iran deal possible—would be great as Secretary of State, and rips Rudy and Bolton for the job.

Java Joe was a failure as a Congressman, failure as a musician, and is eminently unqualified to criticize ANY of the people who might serve in a Trump administration. After the demise of Glenn Beck, the relevance of this guy is next.
Not sure I can even call Corker a RINO. He is a democrat who invaded the Republican party.
He’s right; no one with a brain would pick Corker, as much as I would love to lose him as my Senator.

We already had two “No-Brainers” in that position. Now we need a Brainiac All-American.

Again whatever msm doesn’t like, we love. What they love, we hate. So answers that about SOS.
I think a senator is right out. We can’t spare a republican Senator. I can’t think of anybody. But there must be someone with foreign experience. I suggest someone in NATO command. They can take orders and know the other side. I am not sure Giuliani is healthy enough. Its a tough job. And Bolton picks fights. He was run out of his last job. I would like someone who is tough but not someone who is trying to burn the place down.
I would even take one of those Generals that Obama fired.
Corker is my senator.

He was the author of the Corker bill that stood the Constitution on its head so Obama could get his Iran “deal”.

TN Democrats were begging him to run for Governor as a Democrat as long ago as 1998.
