Most of arrested anti-Trump protesters didn't vote in Oregon
KGW News - Portland ^ | November 15, 2016 | Kyle Iboshi

More than 70 percent of the 112 anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland didn’t vote in Oregon, according to state election records. The other approximately 30 percent did cast a ballot in Oregon or in another state.

At least seventy-nine demonstrators either didn’t turn in a ballot or weren’t registered to vote in the state.

KGW compiled a list of the 112 people arrested by the Portland Police Bureau during recent protests. Those names and ages, provided by police, were then compared to state voter logs by Multnomah County Elections officials.

Records show 39 of the protesters arrested were registered in the state but didn’t return a ballot for the November 8 election. Thirty-six of the demonstrators taken into custody weren’t registered to vote in Oregon.

Kevin Grigsby was one of 71 arrested during the Saturday night protest. He said he didn't do anything wrong, but told KGW he also did not vote.

"I did not (vote) and the reason why is because we know that the electoral college is really what matters the most. And I think that we need to change that because your vote doesn’t matter if you don’t have enough electoral college points.," said Grigsby.

Was it because they were...not US citizens?

Wisdom established years before the rise of Trump: Don’t bitch if you didn’t vote.

Didn’t all of the 71 that were arrested let go free of charge with some bs contingency that they MAY be charged after there is some kind of investigation? Everything was most likely on tape so there isn’t much to investigate.

Did they even live in Oregon?

I know the article mentioned some who voted in other states, so assume if they voted in other states it would have been found. Were they bused in??

Just what I said a week ago. These hysterical snowflakes couldn’t be bothered to vote but they have plenty of time and energy to trash their own neighborhoods. We can thank their adolescent self-absorption that Hillary is political history.

These idiots are obviously paid protesters from Soros/Obama/DNC. They make 15-20 bucks an hour.
People in Oregon are pissed. In my county, Trump won. In fact, Clinton only won in 4 counties throughout the state.....all libbie hell holes.
But.....now people are pissed at the governor, mayor of Portland, Wyden and Merkley and thinking about suing them all for damages, impeded traffic and for condoning the rioters.
I am disgusted with the RNC.
Bud Pierce did not lost the governor’s race by much and if the republicans had spent a little money here, things could have really changed for us.

What would you expect? These are a combination of bums and Soros-paid anarchists who serve no purpose except to live off others.

IIRC, of the people arrested during the recent Charlotte riots, 70% were from outside North Carolina.

There have been 112 anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland alone. Does anyone know how many pro-Trump people have been arrested for harassment, intimidation, or vandalism since the election? Have there been 112 NATIONWIDE? Fifty? Twenty? Ten?

I ask the question because the media keep talking about some sort of national reign of terror against minorities, perpetrated by Trump supporters, yet most of the trouble seems to be caused by anti-Trump people.
